Event Details

New Balance Future Stars Series powered by Program 15 Sports and presented alongside NorCal Baseball are pleased to bring the Scout and Development Weekend to Lathrop, CA.

Dates: 10/30-31

Location:  Islander Field

Times: Plan for an allotted time between 9am-5pm each day depending on group size and assignments.  Those will be released the Wednesday before the event.

Why:  This is the first step in the New Balance Future Stars Series process.  Following this event selected players will be invited to attend the regional combine on 12/29.  Next after your performance at the regional combine, you may be invited to either the Underclass combine in Lake Charles LA, or the National Combine to be held in Fenway Park home of the Boston Red Sox.  Finally following those events players are then selected for the Underclass Elite to be held in Port St. Lucie the Spring Training home fo the New York Mets and ultimately The Main Event in CitiField in New York City, home of the New York Mets

What:  Two days of hands-on development and scouting from our major league staff.  Day one will focus on development and day two on evaluation through gameplay and testing.  Nowhere else will you get this much interaction with professional coaches and evaluators.

Results:  Within 48 hours following the event data and testing results will be available and sent via email.  Full scouting reports and video will be available approximately 4 weeks following the event.  Why does it take 4 weeks?  Our staff takes great pride and detail in writing meaningful, honest, and impactful reports.  This takes time to ensure each player is given the proper evaluation and development notes in their report.  We actually write these reports and they are not auto-generated with the same comments rotating between players or have a college intern writing them as some other organizations.  We have real professionals with several decades and world series rings of experience working and interacting with your players.

Space is limited and will fill up quickly.  Please reserve your spot and register as soon as possible.
