The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series is set to show their continued commitment to the development of the top amateur talent north of the border in a big way in the coming weeks, as a series of Scout Days and Opening Day for the FSS Canada Scout League are all set for May.
Over the course of four days, we’ll see the Midwestern Ontario Bobcats, Durham Stallions, Vikings HPP, Ontario Kobras and Mississauga Tigers for a series of Scout Days between May 11-14 that will help our scouting staffs gain a base evaluation of players as well as make them eligible for league play.
Scout Days have been a staple of the Future Stars Series over the past ten years and have helped develop countless players both domestic and international on their way to success in college and professional baseball. Scout Days are hosted by PROGRAM 15 Partner Programs. Each player attending a Scout Day event receives a full MLB scouting report written by a professional scout who has signed MLB players. Player profiles and evaluations are logged into the PROGRAM 15 Proprietary Scouting Database and made available to college and pro scouts across the country. Players are also evaluated for the opportunity to advance to a New Balance Future Stars Series Combine.

Highly anticipated since the announcement last year, The Canada arm of the New Balance Future Stars Series Scout League marks a groundbreaking evolution in amateur baseball. Developed by a team of seasoned professionals and scouts, this initiative prioritizes player development while integrating advanced scouting and data technologies — such as Synergy, Infinite Sky, NTangible, and SmartPark. Spanning across the U.S. and Canada, the Scout Leagues establish a new gold standard for regional league play. An early May date has been set for Opening Day, with more details and a complete schedule to come shortly.

Players will also receive consistent social media coverage with videos shared on a variety of FSS platforms, as well as coverage on the FSS website throughout the duration of league play.
