Mason Ronan was taken 880th overall by the Boston Red Sox, and is a proud alum of the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series and Program 15.
Ronan participated in the 2018 Grad Class Tourney and the International Week event in Sugar Land, Texas, and Program 15 VP of Scouting Butch Baccala provided the following report on Ronan.
“Mason Ronan…when you’ve got a lefthander that can throw up to 92, can spot his curveball and his changeup, you’ve got a potential third starter. A high school kid that’s a potential third starter with body…he threw great in Houston and then he was picked to come to the International Week event and didn’t throw as great there, but you could see everything. You could see what the picture should be in three years. Left-handed, loose and live.”
