2025 Signature Event: Fresh 50
We first saw John Tedesco at the Sandlot Baseball Scout Day/Oklahoma Regional Combine at the end of May, where he impressed on both sides of the ball and earned his way to Houston, participating in both the National Tournament and Underclass Combine. There, the legit two-way player put down a 6.9 60 time and impressed scouts with a multitude of tools, grading out well across the board. With some significant projectability in the frame, there’s a lot to dream on here, and he’ll make his first signature event appearance this coming weekend at our Fresh 50 in Hartford.
42-year-old Mike Ashmore is a New Jersey-based writer with 23 years experience in professional baseball.
Since 2003, he has covered multiple World Series and has worked high-profile events ranging from the MLB All-Star Game to the World Baseball Classic. In addition to his role working for the Future Stars Series that he's held since 2017, Ashmore currently serves as the beat writer of the Double-A New York Yankees affiliate, the Somerset Patriots, as well as national hockey writer and New York Jets game day beat reporter for The Trentonian.
