The New Balance Future Stars Series Scout League marks a groundbreaking evolution in amateur baseball. Developed by a team of seasoned professionals and scouts, this initiative prioritizes player development while integrating advanced scouting and data technologies — such as Synergy, Infinite Sky, NTangible, and SmartPark. Spanning across the U.S. and Canada, the Scout Leagues establish a new gold standard for regional league play.

League Format Overview

  • No League Fees: Teams share hard costs equally

  • Season Timing: Runs from late spring through summer, with each region setting its own schedule

  • Divisional Structure: Two divisions per circuit, with 6 teams each

  • FSS Scout Day: Players must participate in one preseason to be eligible to play in the league

  • FSS Plus Membership: Required for participation

    • Cost: $299/player (includes both FSS Plus membership and Scout Day access)

  • Fall 2025 Launch: Pilot programs debuting in select regions

  • National FSS Tournament: Hosted annually every September

  • Fall Regional Tournaments: Optional events available post-season

  • Wood Bat Requirement: Applies to all players ages 15 and up
