With the 567th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the Detroit Tigers selected pitcher Albert Oliva, becoming the last of the 30 MLB teams to take an alumni of the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series over the last five years of the draft.
Oliva was at a regional combine in Puerto Rico back in 2019.
