A member of the 2019 New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series All-Tournament Team for the 2022 class event, Tucker Toman stood out as a two-way player for the Dirtbags back then, and was just selected by the Toronto Blue Jays with the 77th overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft.
PICK ANALYSIS BY JEREMY BOOTH, CEO AND PRESIDENT OF THE NEW BALANCE BASEBALL FUTURE STARS SERIES: I compared Tucker to Chipper Jones when we saw him. I thought he was a pretty good player, and obviously he’s from a baseball family. I know he’s had some twists and turns along his path, and he’s ended up on several different travel teams and been around a little bit, but he comes from a baseball family and he’s a good kid. The kid can hit.”
