In its fourth year of existence, the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series Underclass Combine heads to the Music City for the first time, set to kick off the Combine schedule at Shelby Park on June 26.
Following the postponement of the event for the 2027’s to the July 10-12 timeframe, and the 2025’s will set a very high bar for the rest of the groups to follow; there are plenty of familiar names on the rosters of the eight teams put together, including numerous standouts from last October’s inaugural Fresh 50 in Tucson.
In addition to a bevy of new names who have been identified through a variety of events since then, alums of that event such as Ethan Barnes, Dominic Bonilla, Zack Bretza, Julian Carter, Landon Cochran, Ryder DeJournett, Benjamin Dominguez, Manuel Dorantes, Matthew Gileno, Brayden Jaksa, Michael Nicolini, Peyton Richards, Brayden Smith, Watson Storey, Robert Sutton, Karson Trichel (pictured) and others are expected to attend.
While the latest information for the event can always be found on the FSS website at this link, here is the projected game schedule as of Sunday morning.

In addition, a comprehensive day of athletic testing is set for Monday before the games are set to start; the first teams will arrive at 7:45 AM to go through media and college recruiting training, and will then stretch prior to running the 40/60-yard dash, go through various forms of the broad jump and run the pro agility test. Players will then go through defensive testing, offensive testing, take live BP, and go through the Pelotero station all before a series of group positional development stations with the FSS staff, with the day wrapping up with guest speakers.
The event has helped produce numerous players who have gone on to play at International Week/The Main Event, including Hudson Hamilton, Austin Lemon, Cole Lanford, Darnell Parker, David Stanley, Andrew Elkhill, David Ballenilla, Alex Kranzler, Jake Brown, Luke Moeller, Ethan Frey, Griffin Stieg, Tre Phelps, Luke Hill, Boston Baro, Omari Daniel, Kaleb Duncan, Jared Mettam, Collin Priest, Brett Barfield, Luke McNeillie, Sam Ardoin and Cole Phillips.
