FSS to host first-ever College All-Star Week in Summer 2026

HOUSTON – On the heels of last week’s JUCO Main Event Showdown lineup unveiling, New Balance Future Stars Series announced today that it will host the first-ever College All-Star Week presented by DraftLine in the Summer of 2026.

The event will be held on June 18 and 19 at Dunkin’ Park in Hartford, Connecticut, a city and ballpark that has hosted numerous NBFSS events over the years, including the organization’s Fresh 50 and Underclass Premier signature events in 2025.

“I’m excited to advance a lineup of new college initiatives focused on player exposure, growth, and advancement,” said Jeremy Booth, CEO and President of Baseball Operations for the New Balance Future Stars Series. “This is something that we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and with the return of the JUCO Main Event Showdown in January, which will feature real games, we’re taking another major step forward.”

This event will feature players from 4-year college and JUCO programs that will be selected by Future Stars Series staff and a Selection Committee made up of college coaches from various levels of collegiate baseball.

Players at four-year schools who are draft-eligible are not able to attend.

“Activating our selection committees to nominate, test, and evaluate players with me and our staff in the ballpark, seeing them firsthand, is an honor,” said Booth. “The majority of our college events will be centered in New England and Hartford, and the class and experience that Dunkin’ Park provides is second to none. Being able to place these players in that environment is an exceptional opportunity.”

College All-Star Week will serve as an opportunity for both pro scouts and college coaches to see and grade players up close in a format similar to a combine. The event will include a player development component with details to be determined based on FSS international and high school schedules. There will be full integration with broadcast coverage, Synergy, TrackMan, and other advanced sports science testing to ensure every player’s performance is captured and measured for continued progress.

The multi-day event continues the commitment Future Stars Series has made to bring college athletes to the forefront of both player development and exposure. In January, FSS will host the JUCO Main Event Showdown, which will kick off the season with 9 of the top JUCO teams in the country facing off in a 15-game format at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
