Between top performers and prospects, Thursday was a busy day for the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series powered by Program 15.
Lights Out pitcher Ed Hart (pictured) dazzled early in his outing, sitting in the low 90’s with his fastball and overcoming some second inning hiccups for a solid performance.
Others who caught the eye of P15’s expansive scouting staff included Dylan Thompson (Louisiana Knights), Mason Gerrard (GPS), Larkin Polk (Nationals), Nic Bronzini (NorCal), Aiden Jimenez (NorCal), Brent Jones (NorCal), Ethan Frey (Louisiana) and Luke Jackson (Lonestar)
NorCal’s Robby Snelling had a second consecutive monster day, hitting two home runs, including a grand slam, while Johnathan Everett came within one out of spinning a no-hitter.
More players who had strong games include: New England Scorpions starter Tommy Turner, who struck out 11 batters in six innings of work, Lonestar 2022 Luke Jackson, Dinger 2022 Luke Moeller, Lonestar 2023 Louie Alonzo, Arbelo 2023 JoVaugh Davis, NorCal 2022 Chandler Tuupo, NorCal 2023 Brandon Guentz, Trombly 2023 Hunter Long, Trombly 2023 Dane Abbott, Next Level 2022 Carter Bergman and Team Louisiana 2022 Braden Trull.
