NorCal left-handed pitcher Robby Snelling headlines Wednesday’s list of the top performers from the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series powered by Program 15’s National Tournaments.
Snelling (pictured), recorded all 10 of his outs via the K, allowing just one hit and one walk in three and a third scoreless frames. He also helped his own cause with a 2-for-2 showing at the plate, in which he scored a run, drove one in and also managed to draw a walk.
Lobos pitcher Cooper Van Stavern also earns a mention with a complete-game no-hitter in which he struck out nine batters
Other standouts included:
Trombly Baseball starter Jack Ross, who struck out seven batters in a complete game shutout.
NorCal 2023 pitcher George Zacharias, who whiffed four in two scoreless frames.
Griffin Cooley, who had a huge day for Team Louisiana Ardoin with a single, double, triple and two stolen bases.
Anthony Silva (Test Baseball), Henry Bolte (NorCal), Carson Rosen (Next Level), Daniel Garcia (Lonestar), Jose Zayas (Arbelo), Ethan Frey (Team Louisiana) and Xavier Perez (LB21), Tim Arguello and Cal Randall also earned nominations for the honors.
