2025 Signature Event: Underclass Elite
Velazquez was a bit of a data darling in Houston, particularly on the mound, but that’s not to say the Charlotte Regional Combine standout didn’t perform this summer. With plenty of physical upside, he uses a leaner, smaller frame that has plenty of room to add to, Velazquez has some raw arm strength to play with here, and will look to show the strides he’s taken since the summer when we get to Arlington this weekend.
42-year-old Mike Ashmore is a New Jersey-based writer with 23 years experience in professional baseball.

An avid card collector and sim racer, he lives with his wife, Sarah, their son William, and their beloved dog, Bailey, and cat, Smokey.
