2025 Signature Event: Underclass Premier
We first saw Steele at a Scout Day in San Antonio in early 2024, but he didn’t truly pop on the FSS radar until his appearance at our Underclass Combine in Houston this July. A two-way player who is a potential 80 runner as he progresses — he put down a 6.86 time in the 60 during testing — Steele brings athleticism to the field with an impressive frame that features long levers, broad shoulders and some projectability with room to add. On the mound, it’s mostly a fastball-curveball mix that come from a three-quarter slot. It’s likely we’ll see him on both sides of the ball for the Purple squad this weekend in Hartford at the Underclass Premier.
