Braylon Bishop, who made a big impact as one of the youngest players at the most recent International Week event, has been projected as going tenth overall in Baseball America’s annual early mock of the upcoming draft that comes out just after the previous one — the 2020 MLB Draft in which four FSS alums were taken in the first round — was completed.
Bishop reached base seven times as a member of the National Team over three games, including a two-run single and RBI double, and continues to emerge as a potential “lottery pick” in 2021.
The 17-year-old first made waves with Program 15 when he turned in a standout performance while playing with Sticks Baseball’s loaded 2020 team at the national tournament in Cypress, making him an easy invite to the prestigious IW event several months later.
In addition, Bleacher Report has Ian Moller as a projected first rounder in their most recent mock for the 2021 MLB Draft, listing him as their 21st overall pick. Moller, who saw limited action for the National Team at International Week, is a C/3B with a current commitment to LSU.
