Congratulations to Damon Casetta-Stubbs, who was a standout at the inaugural 2017 International Week event held in Sugar Land, and was recently named to the Northwest League All-Star Game in his first full professional season.
Casetta-Stubbs, who just turned 20, was selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 11th round of the 2018 MLB Draft, and turned around a slow start to this year in the South Atlantic League following his assignment to the NWL’s Everett AquaSox. He’s 3-1 with a 4.00 ERA over 45 innings and ten starts for the AquaSox this year, and has struck out nearly one batter per inning with 41 so far for Everett.
