An Arkansas commit out of Wisconsin, Dylan Questad has been considered to be the top 2023-eligible player out of the state for some time now. Although he’s also an outfielder, his focus has been on the bump for a while now, where he’s been lauded for both his pure stuff and his ability to use it effectively.
FSS Event History: Questad wowed the scouting and development staffs back at the 2021 Regional Combine in Nashville, where he showed a potential plus-plus fastball even back then.
Current Ranking in Joe Doyle’s FSS Plus Top 600: 387
Joe Doyle on Questad:
Fastball sits 93-96 in shorter outings, low-90s over prolonged starts. Heater features serious ride (up to 24″ IVB) and run on a separate two-seamer. Curveball flashes hammer potential with great bite in the upper-70s, though command wavers. Flashed low-80’s SL and mid-80’s CH as well. Shorter, bulldog-esque frame with some effort suggests a bullpen role may be in his ultimate pro profile.
