Caribbean Classic Player Profile: Dominic Pellegrin, INF

November 25, 2025

Dominic Pellegrin, INF — Holy Cross HS — New Orleans
HT/WT: 6-0/170
Winter Signature Event:
Caribbean Classic

Pellegrin entered this year’s Main Event with an “all he does is hit” reputation.

You’ll never believe what he did once he got there.

It was another hit show for the Tulane commit, who reached base multiple times over the course of the three-day event including hits both at Riders Field and Globe Life Field during the weekend. A player who is surely seeing his Draft stock continue to climb will get a very unique opportunity to continue to show what he can do for evaluators in attendance at our upcoming Caribbean Classic presented by Draftline, set for Puerto Rico from January 16-19, 2026.

Our scouts see him as a “solid overall baseball player with good instincts…a middle of the diamond profile that could also profile in CF with his speed and quickness which allows his run tool to play up” via his most recent report from October. One of the true standout hitters from a loaded Main Event, Pellegrin will surely be a name to watch on the domestic team looking to complete the three-peat at one of our mostly highly anticipated signature events.

Full rosters will be announced later but some of the players that have committed and will attend include: LHP/1B RJ Cope (Lawrenceville, GA), INF Easton Autrey (Corsicana, TX), LHP Hudson Tuley (Abilene, TX), INF Isaac Torres (Converse, TX), C Jax Van Valkenburg (Owasso, OK), INF Cole Prosek (Senatobia, MS), RHP Michael Teasley (Oak Ridge, TN), INF Dominic Pellegrin (Metairie, LA), Kaizen Dorsette (Nassau, Bahamas), Malique Isreal (Nassau, Bahamas), Asher Simms (Nassau, Bahamas), Yeickxel Rivera (Ponce, Puerto Rico), INF/OF Kail Pena (Caguas, Puerto Rico), Alan Gippson (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Yeriel Rivera (Coamo, Puerto Rico), Carlos Coira (Vega Alta, Puerto Rico), SS Reilyn Mendoza (Dominican Republic), SS Caonabo Cosme Jr. (Dominican Republic), SS Ismael Beltre (Dominican Republic), Rodolfo Sanchez (Dorado, Puerto Rico), Saul Maldonado (Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico) and Derick Cedeno (Yauco, Puerto Rico).
