The Kanss City Royals have received mixed results from their farm system of late. Bobby Witt Jr. sure looks the part, and slugger Vinnie Paquantino certainly belongs, but the club’s top arms have stagnated in the majors, as has their first-round pick from a year ago, outfielder Gavin Cross.
There’s talent to be developed, however, including Blake Mitchell, the Royals’ first-round pick last month.
