Chicago White Sox Top 30 Prospect Rankings Update

August 8, 2023

The Chicago White Sox’s 2023 season did not go well. Yes, past tense. It’s over. But the club will sign off next month having given their future a boost.

In addition to the draft selections, GM Rick Hahn went out and turned Jake Burger into Jake Eder (puns unintended but indeed hilarious), and acquired Edgar Quero and Ky Bush in exchange for Lucas Giolito and Reynaldo Lopez.

That’s four of their top 11 (including first-round pick Jacob Gonzalez), and the proximity of the majority of their top 10 suggests a retool, not a rebuild.
