May 4, 2019

Congratulations are in order for Grayson Rodriguez, whose stellar showing with the Low-A Delmarva Shorebirds has earned him Orioles Minor League Pitcher Of The Month honors for April.

The 19-year-old first round pick won his first three starts, and pitched to a dazzling 0.54 ERA in 16.2 innings of work, striking out a whopping 28 batters in the process.

Rodriguez was a standout at the inaugural New Balance Baseball Powered by Program 15 International Week event held in Sugar Land, Texas. He faced several players who went on to get drafted, including fellow first rounder Noah Naylor.
