May 19 Pro Ball Update: Program 15 Alums Excelling At The Next Level

Grayson Rodriguez continued his ascent up the prospect charts with another strong start for the Delmarva Shorebirds on Wednesday.

Rodriguez, a participant in the inaugural International Week event held in 2017, picked up his fifth professional win to improve to 5-0 with a 1.45 ERA in his first six outings this season.  He allowed just two runs on a walk and three hits while striking out six Greensboro batters in a 3-2 win for the Shorebirds; impressively, he struck out at least one batter in each of his five innings of work.

Mateo Gil, Yeancarlos Lleras, Sean Guilbe, Alberto Gonzalez, Xavier Valentin are all either in extended spring training or expected to be assigned to short-season teams.
