As we begin looking ahead to the 2027 MLB Draft, there's a tremendous amount of uncertainty. Nobody truly knows what next year's draft will look like, how clubs will balance high school versus college players, or exactly what will drive decisions inside draft rooms.
What I do know is this: if you want to understand the draft, you first have to understand where players are actually being evaluated.
