FARMINGTON, N.M. —Another look from our Hall of Fame scout at what he calls the best amateur tournament in the country. Some Day 3 standouts to follow:
Spencer Browning, SS (2026) || 6-0, 195 || R/R || Dulin’s Dodgers
University of Arkansas commit with average tools across the board; maybe 55 runner. Surprised draft passed him by.
Keegan Sawyer, C (2028) || 6-0, 188 || R/R || Midland Redskins
Uncommitted, good looking kid who is physical already. Called his own game. Has bat upside. I spoke to him, there are lots of big D1 programs back channeling him. Should be part of the program.
Reid Blakely, OF/1B/LHP (2027) || 6-1, 190 || L/L || Dulin’s Dodgers
USC commit. May have turned him in day one, but nonetheless continued to perform as an LHH.
Cole Flashnick (2027) || 6-1, 190 || R/L || Redbirds
University of Arkansas commit. Played at third but likely shortstop in spring; LHH. His bat plays and he has an overall good tool package. Should be popular next spring.
Easton Autrey, 1B (2026) || 6-4, 235 || R/R || Midland Redbirds
University of Texas commit and FSS alum who finally got out of the gate; toned done today from launch a ball (which we all know he can do) to hitter. Couple real good swings and adjustments for hits. Made some really good plays at first and looks more athletic; looked like hes been working hard on that, which was good to see.
Eli Parkhurst, 3B (2027) || 6-3, 190 || R/L || Brand of Athletes (Oklahoma)
2027 University of Oklahoma commit. LHH with a great frame and pretty lefthanded swing. Has a plus arm and is another one who is going to be popular next spring. Great follow.
