PROGRAM 15, the Official Global Grassroots Player Identification and Development Program for New Balance Baseball, continues to push the game of baseball and its amateur athletes into new territories through innovation with their exclusive collaboration with Pelotero to provide data-driven development plans for New Balance Future Stars Series.

Co-founded by hitting instructor Bobby Tewksbary, known for his work with former AL MVP Josh Donaldson, along with former big leaguer Chris Colabello, Pelotero builds software that solves the “Now What?” Problem with sports technology. Pelotero’s BOX Platform automatically applies intelligence to athlete data and generates individualized training programs to improve player performance.

With the new exclusive collaboration, Future Stars Series scouting and development team will make their suggestions and notes available to Pelotero. Players attending the events will have the opportunity to opt in to receive Pelotero’s recommendations and access a personal development plan created automatically by the Pelotero App based on their scouting data. This option allows players to continue their advancement through measurable data that translates on the field, working hand in hand with the Future Stars Series tool assessments and model of role prediction.

Jeremy Booth, CEO and President of the Future Stars Series, said about the new collaboration, “I’ve known Bobby and Chris for 17 years. Both guys are brilliant and they complement each other exceptionally well in Player Development. It’s going to be great to collaborate with their perspectives and viewpoints to generate a better return for the players that go through the series. We will debut the collaboration in Shrewsbury, MA this weekend, March 5th, at the Boston Combine which is miles away from where we met in Worcester. It’s happening there because of course it is.”

Future Stars Series Scouting Reports are just one of the reasons their Scouting and Evaluation events have built a reputation as the most comprehensive amateur baseball player identification and development experiences available. Backed by decades of Pro Baseball experience, the Future Stars Series National Staff of former Major League and professional players, scouts, and coaches provide in-depth and credible evaluations that are trusted by Major League scouts and college coaches across the country.

Pelotero Co-Founder Bobby Tewksbary, said, “We’ve been following Program 15’s growth over the last few years and have been impressed with their high-level players and caliber of events. We are excited to work with Jeremy and his team to extend their proven scouting models into player development opportunities for athletes all over the US and abroad.”

The collaboration with Pelotero will be made available to Future Stars Series Partner Programs and be involved in Future Stars Series Instructs, the virtual monthly player development program utilizing true major league scouting evaluations, developmental feedback and a plan to assist individual long-term growth from scouts who have signed Major League players.

Players utilizing the Pelotero system who aren’t with FSS Partner Programs will be able to generate invitations to Regional Combines through achieving checkpoints that trigger Future Stars Series interest.
