PROGRAM 15 Breaks Down Barriers For Amateur Baseball Player Advancement with Launch of New Future Stars Series Partner Program

FSS Partner Program

FSS Partner Program
Since its inception in the fall of 2016 as a grassroots initiative between New Balance Baseball and PROGRAM 15, the Future Stars Series has focused on its mission to elevate the game of baseball by providing amateur players across all economic levels an opportunity to reach their full potential through the training, development, and guidance of former MLB players, scouts, and coaches.

Drawing the support of Major League executives, professional scouts, colleges and universities, and player development organizations across the country, the organization has emerged as the gold standard for player identification and development events in the amateur baseball world, putting a spotlight on over 70 MLB Draft Picks and International Signings along with hundreds of college-committed players who have participated in Future Stars Series events.

Continuing their unwavering commitment to change the game of baseball and reach as many undiscovered players as possible, PROGRAM 15 announces that they are accepting applications for the August launch of the new Future Stars Series Partner Program.

Participation in the Partner Program is by invitation only and extended to organizations that demonstrate values that align with the mission of the Future Stars Series and are invested in a player’s long-term success by committing to participate in the following player-first focused FSS events.

Scout Day – Hosted exclusively for FSS Partner Programs, each player attending a Scout Day event receives a co-branded t-shirt, hat, and full MLB scouting report written by a professional scout who has signed MLB players. Player profiles and evaluations are logged into the PROGRAM 15 Proprietary Scouting Database and made available to college and pro scouts across the country. Scout Days will be covered by the Future Stars Series social media team reaching over 100 million views and impressions.

Players attending their organization’s Scout Day will also be evaluated for selection to attend a New Balance Future Stars Series National or Underclass Combine, allowing them to bypass the normally required Regional Combine as they progress toward a potential invitation to the Underclass Elite or Main Event signature showcases.

Fall Super Regional Tournament – These regional events held across the country throughout September are limited to FSS Partner Programs with a focus on providing feedback, exposure, and athletic testing. Scouting reports with predictive analytics are captured and modeled into each player’s scouting database profile. Super Regional standings will be used for seeding the 2023 Future Stars Series National Championship Tournaments. The events will be covered by the Future Stars Series social media team reaching over 100 million views and impressions with online streaming available via GameKast Live.

National Championship Tournaments – The highly anticipated annual event puts the spotlight on Future Stars Series Partner Program teams from across North America, crowning a true national champion from each high school age group. Players will be seen by major league scouts and college recruiters and be evaluated by PROGRAM 15 Scouting staff for potential selection to Future Stars Series invitation-only Scouting and Development events. The National Championships will be covered by a full broadcast and social media team, reaching over 100 million views and impressions with online streaming available via GameKast Live.

These events have proven to be the first steps for dozens of FSS alumni who have advanced to experience the game of baseball in front of prominent scouts from around the League on the big stages of New York’s Citi Field and Boston’s Fenway Park at the New Balance Future Stars Series Annual Main Event.

The new streamlined Partner Program format provides fully involved organizations and their players with unprecedented opportunities for exposure and advancement while significantly lowering, and potentially eliminating the cost barriers that stand in the way of so many talented players.

Each qualifying partner organization will see its costs diminish substantially with a chance to earn no-fee tournament entry to Future Stars Series events through their full participation and compliance with the FSS Partner Program policies. Gate fees for player families will also be eliminated for each organization meeting the requirements established by Future Stars Series with the venue and host city.

The New Balance Future Stars Series is not just about discovering and developing the MLB Heroes of tomorrow. It’s about finding and developing the leaders of tomorrow by creating real opportunities where they don’t exist today: opportunities for education, opportunities to give back to their community …opportunities for a future.

All Future Stars Series events work hand in hand with the Future Stars Series Foundation, providing players the opportunity to give back to their communities by working with groups rebuilding homes, scholarship programs, apparel and footwear donation, and other causes that directly and immediately impact people in need.

Once selected to participate in the FSS Partner Program, additional benefits will be unlocked for clubs to make an impact on their communities through the Future Stars Series Foundation and access to the Future Stars Series Digital platform for creating NFTs to generate revenue toward their charitable initiatives and player scholarships. Qualifying organizations are also eligible to have the Future Stars Series Social Media team cover one new player tryout at no cost.

Jeremy Booth, CEO and President of the Future Stars Series said, “We’re glad to get back to this format with the partners. Being a partner should mean something, with benefits for the partnership. We believe in the value of multiple platforms for players as each group has things they do well. Others may not say that, but we will. We want to deliver a fully comprehensive product to the partners, their players, and families as they participate while still leaving plenty of room on the calendar to be able to play other places. Some of the showcase groups seem bent on world domination. We are focused on the kids and how to make things better. We are confident the Futures Stars Series Partner Program will do that.”
