PROGRAM 15, the Official Global Grassroots Player Identification and Development Program for New Balance Baseball, welcomes The BASE as new Future Stars Series Regional Partner Program.
PROGRAM 15 and New Balance Baseball continue their unwavering commitment to change the game of baseball by providing amateur players across all economic levels an opportunity to reach their full potential through the training, development, and guidance of former MLB players, scouts, and coaches with the announcement of their collaboration with highly regarded urban youth baseball and softball academy, The BASE.
Based out of Boston with branches in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, and Chicago, The BASE operates a premier national urban youth academy that leverages the power and passion of sports to change the game for urban youth by providing opportunity, education, training and encouragement.
PROGRAM 15 and Future Stars Series representatives will be on hand at the upcoming Boston Urban Baseball Classic, July 31-August 4 as well as the 6th Annual BASEball Gala on June 5, held at Fenway Park.

The mission is pure: impact players and advance them in all walks of life in and beyond the game of baseball. The BASE teams will participate in upcoming New Balance Futures Stars series events as well as hold their first Scout Day this coming fall. Player profiles and evaluations will be logged into the PROGRAM 15 Proprietary Scouting Database and made available to college coaches and pro scouts.
Select players identified by PROGRAM 15’s National Staff of former Major League and professional players, scouts and coaches will be submitted to New Balance Baseball for advanced opportunities and potential selection to regional and national team rosters for New Balance sponsored events.

Founded in 2013 and born out of the Boston Astros’ culture and methodology, The BASE combines exceptional baseball and softball training and competition with dynamic resources and opportunities to empower student-athletes to achieve their full potential.
Since its inception, the Boston Astros program has achieved significant success by serving over 8,000 boys and girls on more than 600 teams. Through their competitive pursuits, Astros teams have established themselves as an Elite program in the nation. The Astros have competed at the local, regional and national level – playing teams such as the Canadian National Team, the Dominican Republic All-Stars, Team Puerto Rico, and the Bronx New York Stars and competing across the country in states including Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and New Jersey. In addition, the Astros were also able to compete in Japan and following this competition, they were featured in Japanese print and radio as a model American baseball program.
