2020 MLB Draft: Marco Raya, Minnesota Twins, 128th Overall Pick

June 11, 2020

Marco Raya became the eighth alum of the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series powered by Program 15 to be taken in the 2020 MLB Draft when the Minnesota Twins selected him with their fourth round pick.

Raya first caught the eye of many when he starred for Warstic at the most recent national tournament in Cypress, Texas.  That performance earned him an opportunity with the National Team at International Week, where he earned the prestigious start at Fenway Park.

QUICK SCOUTING REPORT FROM CEO JEREMY BOOTH:

Marco Raya is a winning personality with stuff and feel to pitch. Tough to see for hitters and has advance fastball command, he keeps hitters off balance by protecting his 60 grade fastball well. Fearless on the mound and extremely driven, he will find his way to Minnesota sooner rather than later.
