Diamond Kinetics Becomes The Official On-Field Analytics and Motion Sensor Provider For PROGRAM 15 and The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series

PROGRAM 15, the Official Global Grassroots Player Identification and Development Program for New Balance Baseball selects Diamond Kinetics, the market leader in Mobile Motion Technology and Information as the exclusive On-Field Analytics and Motion Sensor Provider for The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series.

PROGRAM 15 continues to push the game of baseball, and it’s amateur athletes into new territories through innovation by partnering with Diamond Kinetics as the Official On-Field Analytics and Motion Sensor Provider for the New Balance Future Stars Series Combines and Tournaments.

Led by PROGRAM 15’s National Staff of former Major League and professional players, scouts, and coaches, Future Stars Series Regional Training and Evaluation Combines have garnered a reputation as one of the most comprehensive amateur baseball player identification and development experiences available.

With the new partnership, players attending Future Stars Series Combines will receive Diamond Kinetics SwingTracker sensors used to capture motion data in real-time, which will be shared with the PROGRAM 15 staff to measure and analyze player swing metrics.

Each player is provided a Full Scouting Report along with developmental feedback and plan to assist in their long-term growth from scouts who have signed Major League players. Player profiles and evaluations are logged into the PROGRAM 15 Proprietary Scouting Database and made available to college and pro scouts across the country.

Players will also receive a free limited subscription to the Diamond Kinetics SwingTracker app so they can view their swing metrics and better understand their individual profiles.

As the most comprehensive performance improvement system on the market today, the Diamond Kinetics suite of mobile apps creates the ultimate training platform for any player.

  • Train The Brain with the Axon Baseball app allows players to test their cognitive ability to recognize different pitch types in a fun, engaging, video game-like format.
  • Train The Body with SwingTracker, the cutting-edge sensor technology providing instant insight and actionable feedback across 14 different swing metrics.
  • Improve The Game with the DK Expert app through research-backed, video training content from national, MLB-level hitting and strength training experts across 100+ lessons.

Diamond Kinetics’ industry-changing ‘Smart Bat’, containing a SwingTracker sensor within the knob of the bat, will be the exclusive sensor technology approved for in-game use for the 2018 New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series National Championship and International Week World Championship Tournaments.

Players selected to be part of the National and World team rosters will be provided a ‘Smart Bat’ to use in the games, with the option of also using a bat with the sensor on the knob.

By creating a unique and comprehensive way to train both their swing and their brain, Diamond Kinetics’ and Axon Sports’ technology allows players to experience the ultimate swing, data and instructional platform upon which to develop their baseball skills. Both technologies are currently utilized by elite college baseball teams including Vanderbilt, Oregon State, Louisville, Clemson and Coastal Carolina.

“PROGRAM 15 has created an extremely exciting vision and aggressive foresight around tournaments, player evaluation and player development that is highly beneficial for today’s youth players,” Diamond Kinetics CEO C.J. Handron said. “We are very pleased and excited to partner with PROGRAM 15 and the New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series to bring motion technology to their clinics, showcases, and tournaments and improve the way hitters learn, train and improve.”

PROGRAM 15 Founder, CEO and President of Baseball Operations for The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series, Jeremy Booth says, “Diamond Kinetics continues to innovate and lead in areas of hitting and throwing metrics. The engagement they have with our staff and partner programs will allow players to fully take advantage and use technology to help their growth in development.”
