New York Mets Top 30 Prospect Rankings Update

The 2023 season hasn’t gone the way of the New York Mets, but if you’re a fan of prospects, scouting, and player development, Billy Eppler’s club is one of the most interesting groups in baseball ,including a re-stocked farm system — and more on the way.

After landing Colin Houck and Brandon Sproat in the first two rounds of the draft, the Mets acquired prospect Drew Gilbert, Ryan Clifford, and Luisangel Acuña in exchange for Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander, and added depth in separate deals for David Robertson and Tommy Pham.

Eppler isn’t likely done dealing, either, but already has changed the long-term future of the Mets with wise decisions this summer.
