HOUSTON, TX & CHARLOTTE, NC — Following the recent announcement of a comprehensive player development partnership between New Balance Future Stars Series (FSS) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), the organizations today provided additional details on a key component of the agreement: the integration of SmartPark technology as the foundational data and evaluation system across NJCAA baseball and softball.
SmartPark, an MLB-verified and integrated field platform developed by WinReality, will serve as the primary infrastructure for data capture, performance analysis, and player evaluation within the partnership, beginning with implementation at NJCAA Baseball and Softball Championships in 2026 and continuing with other events and institutions beyond this calendar year.

Performance data collected through SmartPark will flow directly into Future Stars Series evaluation systems, creating connective tissue and immersive player information for both four-year programs and MLB organizations through the FSS forecasting model and its unified ecosystem of technology partners.
“I’m excited to take this step, build relationships, and identify scalable technology solutions that are on par with or surpass the systems in use today—tools that are accurate, functional, and built to last,” said Jeremy Booth, CEO and President of Baseball Operations for New Balance Future Stars Series. “We’re energized by the opportunity to expand the player base, help players advance, and apply our global expertise to move the game forward within a scalable ecosystem.”
SmartPark delivers a scalable, high-precision technology solution designed to provide more complete, dependable, and actionable player data. The platform currently features 99%+ pitch detection, 98%+ balls-in-play detection, and 100% spin data capture on detected pitches, while offering integrated capabilities that extend beyond traditional tracking systems—including automated strike zone functionality, LED board and pitch clock support, body tracking metrics for hitters, bat tracking data, and live in-game statistics display.
While this specific partnership works to elevate the junior college environment, the combination of FSS’s global player evaluation system and Smart Park’s advance metrics will be valuable beyond this level and impact all aspects of baseball from high school all the way to the pros.
At the JUCO level, the integration establishes a standardized evaluation environment where objective performance data and traditional scouting work in tandem, creating greater transparency and comparability across the NJCAA landscape. Performance data collected through SmartPark will flow directly into Future Stars Series evaluation systems, enhancing player development models and expanding visibility for NJCAA student-athletes to collegiate programs, summer leagues, and professional organizations.
“Everyone needs JUCO sports. Pro, four-year, international, high school players, and institutions…they all need it.” said Booth. “It’s gratifying to bring everything together in a way that enhances the overall product while increasing exposure for players and programs across NJCAA institutions.”
Designed for national scalability, SmartPark’s self-calibrating software and connected-field infrastructure allow for seamless deployment across multiple events and venues while maintaining data integrity and consistency. The system also provides real-time field health monitoring and backend reporting tools, enabling programs and operators to track performance data with greater efficiency and reliability.
As implementation begins, SmartPark will serve as the connective layer between on-field performance, player development, and long-term opportunity—enhancing visibility, strengthening evaluation standards, and helping create a more informed future for junior college baseball and softball.
