This year’s event will take place at our new offseason training home, Sam Houston High School — the 2025 5A Louisiana State Champions — in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

We will have full access to the Sam Houston High School facilities, including the baseball field, batting cages, bullpens, clubhouse, locker room, weight room, track, and football field.
On-Field Plan & Focus Areas:
Our programming mirrors a Major League Spring Training or Instructional League format, focused on individual development, execution, and preparation for the spring season. Areas of work will include:
- Flexibility, conditioning, and arm care
- Flat ground and long-toss work (no mound sessions)
- Delivery repetition and ramp-up fundamentals
- Hitting program design and swing refinement
- Analytical breakdown, vision training, and execution
- Defensive footwork, rhythm, and timing
- On-field BP, defensive play, and conditioning drills
Scouting & Evaluation:
This event will again serve as a monitoring opportunity for the 2025 Caribbean Classic, to be held in Puerto Rico, January 15–20, with on-field dates January 16–19.
The full Future Stars Series staff and front office are expected to be in attendance for player evaluations and draft operations preparation.
Development Window:
With Major League Baseball’s closed period in effect, this is a rare opportunity to train, develop, and grow without external scouting visibility. We strongly encourage you to maximize this time, focusing on measurable progress and refinement heading into the January evaluation window.

Hotel accommodations will be announced soon. Our anticipated location is along the Gulf Coast casino resorts, offering access to golf courses, fishing, boat rides, and plenty of downtime activities.
Annual Awards Ceremony:
During Instructs, we will also present our annual Player of the Year Awards, including:
- Best Prospect
- Hitter of the Year
- Pitcher of the Year
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Landon Cochran Humanitarian of the Year
- And additional organizational honors recognizing excellence across our program.
