HOUSTON — Minnesota, we’re ‘Coming Home’.
New Balance Future Stars Series (NBFSS), one of the nation’s premier amateur baseball development platforms, is excited to announce that its 2026 Main Event will be held September 18–20, 2026, at two of Minnesota’s most iconic baseball venues: Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins, and CHS Field, home of the St. Paul Saints.

The three-day signature event will bring elite high school prospects from across the country to compete and be evaluated in front of professional and collegiate scouts. This will mark the 10-year anniversary for the event and given the history between NBFSS and the Minnesota Twins organizations, it will be a perfect way to celebrate a decade’s worth of success.
“Bringing New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series to Target Field and CHS Field is incredibly meaningful to me. My professional journey began in St. Paul with the Saints, and my scouting career started with and was shaped by the Minnesota Twins organization,” said Jeremy Booth, CEO and President of Baseball Operations for the NBFSS. “The people, the standards, and the community there invested in me at a formative time in my life, and that impact has lasted forever. To return to Minnesota with this platform is both humbling and deeply personal.”
The event’s games and development sessions will be split between both venues with games at CHS Field happening on Friday, September 18 followed up with more action taking place at Target Field on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20.
Located in downtown Minneapolis, Target Field is the award-winning home of the Minnesota Twins. Officially opened on April 12, 2010, the ballpark features a seating capacity of approximately 38,500, with all-natural grass, modern amenities and fantastic sightlines that have helped it become one of baseball’s most admired venues. The stadium’s design provides spectacular views of the Minneapolis skyline, a 360-degree concourse, and fan-friendly features, earning it recognition as one of the premier ballparks in the sport.
CHS Field, home of the St. Paul Saints, opened in 2015 with a seating capacity of approximately 7,210. The ballpark offers fans and players an energetic setting and genuine community experience.
As has been the case at previous locations, all players that will be invited to the Main Event will be treated to a top-of-the-line MLB experience complete with access to clubhouses and all amenities that come with it.
The Main Event has launched the careers of several current Major League Baseball players including Los Angeles Angels pitcher Grayson Rodriguez, Cleveland Guardians catcher Noah “Bo” Naylor, Colorado Rockies outfielder Zac Veen, Cincinnati Reds infielder Cam Collier and Washington Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews.
“Future Stars Series exists to develop players the right way—through education, role definition, and long-term value—and Minnesota represents everything we stand for,” said Booth. “Partnering with the Twins and their now Triple-A affiliate to bring this experience to the Twin Cities connects past, present, and future in a powerful way. We’re proud to bring this level of scouting, development, and opportunity back to a place that helped define who we are.”
A full roster of players and coaches attending will be unveiled later.
