The Atlanta Braves have been the best team in baseball most of the season, and built their roster almost exclusively via their farm system. With homegrown players such Ronald Acuña Jr., Ozzie Albies, and Austin Riley serving as the foundation, the club has used its system to acquire and extend additional all-star caliber players, including catcher Sean Murphy and first baseman Matt Olson.
As a result of the trades, the Braves’ system has run a bit thin, but they are well on their way to rebuilding starting pitching depth, with arms owning nine of the top 10 and 18 of the top 25 spots.
Here’s the Braves’ update post-draft and deadline.
