HOUSTON, TX — New Balance Future Stars Series (NBFSS) has announced a unified and expanded vision for its 2026 summer events in Houston, Texas, bringing together the National Combine, Underclass Combine, and International components into one fully integrated scouting and development experience at Andy Pettitte Park, located on the campus of San Jacinto College.
The 2026 National Combines will now function as one centralized, comprehensive evaluation environment, aligning domestic and international players across multiple graduating classes in a single location.

The result is a streamlined, high-efficiency and proven model that continues the growth of the organization and is designed to better serve athletes, clubs, scouts, and decision-makers at every level of the game
2026 New Balance Future Stars Series Combine Schedule:
- Class of 2030: June 28–30, 2026
- Class of 2027: July 5–7, 2026
- Class of 2029: July 12–14, 2026
- Class of 2028: July 19–21, 2026
Each combine will be preceded by a National Championship Tournament, featuring elite domestic and international club teams. Together, the tournament and combine structure creates a continuous competitive and evaluation ecosystem, allowing players to be seen in both game environments and controlled assessment settings.

“As the world turns, we continue to look for ways to bring everyone together and deliver the best, most impactful baseball experience possible,” said Jeremy Booth, CEO and President of Baseball Operations for NBFSS. “In 2026, that vision takes a major step forward as the World and National Combines come together into one unified experience.
You’ll see international players in Houston alongside domestic players, all working toward selection—world players for the Caribbean Classic, and national and underclass players for the Underclass Signature Events and the Main Event.”
The integrated Houston model brings U.S.-based and international athletes together on the same fields, at the same time, creating a rare and valuable scouting concentration. For MLB organizations, the environment supports efficient global and domestic evaluation within a single hub. For college coaches, it provides expanded visibility across underclass talent, international prospects, and transfer-eligible players—all in one setting.

“We’ve had an incredible experience growing the game in the Caribbean, expanding player reach and return, and adding real value through our forecasting models and long-term development lens,” said Booth. “Bringing everything together in one place elevates that impact for players, clubs, and college programs alike.
Make no mistake, this is some of the best unsigned, uncommitted international talent on the planet, already performing at an advanced level, all in one environment. If you’re not in Houston as part of this, it’s hard to imagine a better opportunity for true global evaluation and alignment. It’s going to be a special experience for everyone involved.”
By centralizing competition, data collection, and evaluation together with much of the domestic future of the game, NBFSS is upgrading the experience for all stakeholders. Players benefit from broader visibility and clearer evaluation context, while teams and decision-makers gain access to a deeper, more diverse talent pool without fragmentation.
International participation in 2026 is expected to include players from Canada, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the Bahamas, Panama, Cuba, Venezuela, and additional regions, further reinforcing Future Stars Series’ role as a global-to-domestic bridge in modern player identification and development. This event, like the World Combine at the MLB Winter Meetings in Orlando this past December, will build on the organizations momentum of providing international players with an opportunity to perform in front of talent evaluators.

Andy Pettitte Park—one of the premier junior college baseball facilities in the country—will serve as the central hub for all on-field activity, evaluations, and player development throughout the summer.
Additional information regarding registration and event logistics will be released in the coming months.
