The first Future Stars Series alum off the board on the second day of the 2020 MLB Draft was Markevian “Tink” Hence, who was taken with the 63rd overall pick by the St. Louis Cardinals.
Hence starred on a stacked Sticks Baseball team at the 2019 national tournament in Cypress, Texas, which helped him earn a spot on the National Team at the International Week event, where he got to pitch in front of a large group of scouts at Fenway Park.
QUICK SCOUTING REPORT FROM CEO JEREMY BOOTH:
Can’t ask for a better mix of person and player. High upside with athleticism to spare. Committed his craft he doesn’t understand how to let up. A silent assassin that goes to work with a full mix arsenal and a future 65 fastball. Starter type with winning makeup.
