New Balance FSS Announces Player Development Partnership with FCBL Clubs

HOUSTON, TXNew Balance Future Stars Series (FSS) today announced strategic player development and baseball operations partnerships with the Vermont Lake Monsters and the Lowell Spinners of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL).

Beginning with Vermont and expanding to include Lowell, the partnerships are designed to integrate advanced player development systems, data capture, and personnel evaluation into both organizations. The initiative aims to enhance on-field performance while providing a comprehensive development environment for players navigating today’s evolving collegiate and NIL landscape.

As part of the partnership, New Balance Future Stars Series CEO and President of Baseball Operations Jeremy Booth will serve as Senior Advisor of Baseball Operations for both organizations, collaborating with team leadership and staff to implement and align development systems and operational strategies.

“This partnership is something the entire team at Future Stars Series is incredibly excited about,” said Booth. “It’s a focused, fully integrated collaboration built on innovation, trust, and shared standards. Our staff will be working directly with players and personnel to provide real-time evaluation, development insight, and support. The advanced data and performance analytics captured will be translated back to collegiate programs—enhancing player profiles, improving visibility, and creating more informed pathways forward. The goal is simple: strengthen both organizations from within while elevating player outcomes and sustaining a competitive, winning environment. It’s an honor to be working with such forward thinkers who embrace the tried-and-true foundations of the game.”

Through the agreement, both clubs will gain access to the full suite of Future Stars Series player personnel resources, including national scouting coverage, advanced analytics, athletic testing, and individualized development planning. Future Stars Series staff will conduct on-site evaluations twice annually, delivering detailed reports to support player progression, roster continuity, and long-term projection.

“The Vermont Lake Monsters are excited to team up with the New Balance Future Stars Series,” said C.J. Knudsen, Senior Vice President of the Vermont Lake Monsters. “We are always looking for innovative ways to help our players excel and provide an amazing experience for them in the process. Future Stars Series allows us to accomplish both, while rising above our competition on and off the field.”

“We are beyond excited to work with Future Stars Series and be a part of their ongoing growth here in the Northeast. It’s more than just baseball—it’s an opportunity for players to be seen, evaluated, and challenged in a high-level environment,” said Marc Deschanes, Owner of the Lowell Spinners. “The energy, the competition, and the exposure create an unforgettable experience. This is where talent meets opportunity, and where the next wave of players can take a real step forward in their journey.”

The collaboration reflects Future Stars Series’ continued commitment to advancing player development pathways and aligning with forward-thinking organizations across the baseball landscape.
