Caribbean Classic Player Profile: J.P. Harmon, RHP

November 13, 2025

J.P. Harmon, RHP — Novato High School (Calif.)
HT/WT: 6-4/205
Winter Signature Event:
Caribbean Classic

Harmon will certainly be one of the arms to watch as we make our signature event debut in Puerto Rico for the Caribbean Classic, having just made things official with his commitment to Ole Miss. Our history with the California-based righty is a lengthy one, as we first saw him all the way back in 2022 at a NorCal Elite League event, which earned him a trip to the Underclass Combine the following year.

He’s since appeared at the Underclass Elite at Fenway and most recently at the Main Event where he was up to 90 and worked well with a fastball/slider/change mix at Globe Life Field. Our scouts described Harmon this October as a “long, lanky kid” with a “great pitchers frame” who “shows flashes now.” “Much upside here,” the report goes on to say. “This will be a good lootery ticket to be holding when he pops. This is what they look like.”

In January at Estadio Isidoro Garcia in Mayaguez, Harmon will get another opportunity to show where he’s at in his development as one of the most popular international events in FSS history makes its triumphant return in a new, four-team format.

Full rosters will be announced later but some of the players that have committed and will attend include: LHP/1B RJ Cope (Lawrenceville, GA), INF Easton Autrey (Corsicana, TX), LHP Hudson Tuley (Abilene, TX), INF Isaac Torres (Converse, TX), C Jax Van Valkenburg (Owasso, OK), INF Cole Prosek (Senatobia, MS), RHP Michael Teasley (Oak Ridge, TN), INF Dominic Pellegrin (Metairie, LA), Kaizen Dorsette (Nassau, Bahamas), Malique Isreal (Nassau, Bahamas), Asher Simms (Nassau, Bahamas), Yeickxel Rivera (Ponce, Puerto Rico), INF/OF Kail Pena (Caguas, Puerto Rico), Alan Gippson (Gurabo, Puerto Rico), Yeriel Rivera (Coamo, Puerto Rico), Carlos Coira (Vega Alta, Puerto Rico), SS Reilyn Mendoza (Dominican Republic), SS Caonabo Cosme Jr. (Dominican Republic), SS Ismael Beltre (Dominican Republic), Rodolfo Sanchez (Dorado, Puerto Rico), Saul Maldonado (Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico) and Derick Cedeno (Yauco, Puerto Rico).
