The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series is turning over a new Leaf.
Trading Cards, that is.
The much-anticipated announcement is finally official, with CEO Jeremy Booth revealing the news on FSS social media platforms during the 2028/29 class National Tournaments.
“Leaf Trading Cards are some of the most traded and highest valued cards on the planet…we’re going to take the image, put it on a baseball card and help you grow your brand,” Booth said. “We’re going to go ahead and make sure that the prospect status that you have earned is commemorated on this card for the rest of your life.”
While some product details are still being hashed out, we can confirm that the official process for card production will begin with this upcoming week’s Underclass Combine, where players will have a photo shoot built into the schedules and cards will be subsequently produced by Leaf.
Leaf has a rich history in the trading card space, but particularly the amateur baseball space, and the Future Stars Series is honored to continue that legacy. For many, their appearance on a Leaf card has been their first ever, and the expectation is that will continue for years to come, only now with players featured in the FSS uniforms and cards being produced off of selection and signature events.
More details will be released in the coming weeks on product distribution, how you can obtain FSS Leaf player trading cards and much, much more.
