Avery Bell is a class of 2026 middle infielder with contact skills thanks to a line-drive stroke and improving bat speed. He profiles well up the middle and probably lands at second base, where he projects as a plus fielder with range and enough arm strength serving up accurate throws from every angle.
Athletic, fast-twitch, lean build on small-medium frame (Mookie Betts)…Shows hand-eye in the batter’s box…accurate arm that could work in CF as well as 2B.
–FSS Scouting Staff
There’s gap power to chase, and with some refinement in the box, Bell can be a weapon everywhere on the field, including the bases — his speed garners plus or better marks from FSS Scouts. He’s an instinctual baserunner who can steal bags at a high rate and volume. He’s run 4.4-second 40-yard dashes, 1.6s on the 10-yard, 4.7s in the Pro Agility, and 6.6 in the 60-yard.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Bell — @averyb07_ on X — is currently uncommitted, but any coach can use his skill set, and he stands out for being a team player focused on helping his team win.
