Boston Red Sox Top 30 Prospect Rankings Update

Most in the industry agree the Boston Red Sox are treading water between good and bad, but if they’re going to take the next step, their middling farm system will need to be a major part of the growth.

The club added a major future piece in the first round of the draft, and have several middle infield prospects in the Top 25, including four in the top 13. They lack near-ready pitching, however, so perhaps there’s a major trade and/or free agent signing coming this winter to push the Sox toward the top of the division.
