A Pratt brother with a big showing at a New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series event? Not the first time, probably not the last.
This time it was Jett truly making an impact for the first time on the signature stage, earning MVP honors at our Underclass Elite, held earlier this month at Mississippi State University’s gorgeous Dudy Noble Field. The youngest brother of FSS alum and current MLB postseason participant Cooper Pratt as well as Main Event standout Quincy Pratt, Jett made significant physical strides since his last signature event appearance at the 2025 Fresh 50.
With a more mature physique, Pratt dazzled on both sides of the ball this time around, making arguably the best defensive play of the weekend with a diving stop at shortstop after ranging to his left, and firing a rope to first for the out. The lefty-hitting shortstop also sent a ball to his pull side gap all the way to the wall for a long triple at the plate as part of an overall standout showing to help take home the award.
