As part of a weekly series of stories leading up to the Program 15 New Balance Future Stars Series upcoming national events in Houston, FutureStarsSeries.com spoke with Dylan Ohlsen, infielder for the Abbotsford Cardinals and Corey Eckstein’s Sandlot BC program.
Ohlsen will play for the World Team at the upcoming Program 15 New Balance Future Stars Series International Weekend.
“I’m really excited to play on the World Team down in Houston. I want to thank (P15/NBFSS CEO) Jeremy (Booth), (p15/NBFSS VP of Scouting) Butch (Baccala) and Program 15 for the opportunity as well, which is a great opportunity for me. I want to see how I can compete with the top talent that’s going to be there from all over the world in one spot. I can’t wait to work with all the coaches that are going to be down there, and have all their information in one spot. I want to have fun with all the new players I’m going to meet as well, so I think it’s going to be a great thing to go to for fun and for a good opportunity.”
