FSS Brings Signature Underclass Events to Mississippi State University

January 26, 2026

Starkville, MS. – New Balance Future Stars Series, one of amateur baseball’s premier evaluation and development platforms, is bringing its ring of signature underclass events to Mississippi State University, marking a significant expansion of its national footprint onto an iconic SEC campus.

The Underclass Elite, Underclass Premier, and Fresh 50 events will feature top players from the Classes of 2028, 2029, 2030, and potentially 2031, continuing the organization’s commitment to early identification, long-term development, and authentic evaluation within the amateur baseball ecosystem.

The events will be hosted at Dudy Noble Field at Polk-DeMent Stadium, Mississippi State’s historic ballpark in Starkville, a venue synonymous with tradition, player development, and competitive excellence. Future Stars Series has longstanding ties throughout the Southern baseball landscape, and this move reflects both the growth of the platform and the strength of talent emerging from the region.

The connection between Future Stars Series and Mississippi State is also deeply personal.

Mississippi State pitching coach Justin Parker has been a long-time supporter of Future Stars Series. Parker was scouted while playing shortstop at Wright State University in 2008. He was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks and was later signed to a professional contract by the Milwaukee Brewers, with Jeremy Booth serving as the signing scout.

“Future Stars Series has always prioritized real evaluation and long-term development,” said Parker. “That approach aligns closely with what we believe in at Mississippi State. Bringing the Underclass Elite, Underclass Premier, and Fresh 50 events to Starkville allows these young players to experience a premier college baseball environment while continuing their development the right way.”

Mississippi State’s growing influence within the amateur baseball pipeline is evident. Landon Brown, the 2025 Future Stars Series Prospect of the Year, is currently slated to attend Mississippi State, reflecting the increasing number of elite players viewing the program as a destination.

“Mississippi State is one of the most iconic programs and venues in college baseball,” said Jeremy Booth, Founder, CEO and President of NB Future Stars Series. “The tradition, the development history, the fan base — all of it matters. I’ve scouted and evaluated players in this environment, and it’s a place that prepares athletes for what’s next.”

Booth added:

“The State of Mississippi and the South continue to be vital to the future of the game, especially at the underclass level. There’s a strong support system here — from junior college to Division I — and real access within the collegiate baseball network. We’re excited and proud to bring our signature underclass events to Mississippi State and to partner with such an iconic program and venue.”

The Underclass Elite, Underclass Premier, and Fresh 50 events are widely regarded as cornerstone evaluation platforms on the national amateur baseball calendar, attracting decision-makers from professional baseball, Division I programs, and junior colleges across the country.

Additional event details, schedules, and participant information will be announced in the coming weeks.
