Caribbean Classic All-Tournament Team Player Recap: Sebastian Dimitroff

February 12, 2026

That it was Sebastian Dimitroff who was trusted with the prestigious start in the Championship Game of the 2026 New Balance Future Stars Series Caribbean Classic presented by DraftLine for the United States team should be no surprise.

That he pitched as well as he did and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team shouldn’t be either.

The Most Outstanding Pitcher at the 2024 Main Event as well as the FSS Pitcher of the Year, the six-foot, 190-pound righty’s performance in the Dominican Republic was just another notch in a belt with more than a few of them; first seen at our 2024 National Tournaments, it’s been a stunning rise ever since. Dimitroff worked his way through the National Combine, Underclass Elite and even his first Main Event during his first year with us, and came back stronger in 2025 as a no-doubt invite to his second consecutive Main Event after another strong showing in Houston this summer.

Scouts love the Georgia Premier Academy’s competitive nature, and believe the 2026 grad has the chops to become a weekend college starter with a pro future. Dimitroff uses mostly a three-pitch mix — a low 90’s fastball, slider and changeup — that also sometimes has a curveball added to the repertoire, with a frame that, per our scouts “projects well for added velocity as physical maturity kicks in.”

“This kid can pitch and compete,” his latest report reads. “He has a delivery and arm action that will only allow him to get better and better as he enters the college ranks and then pro…could be a performer who makes a big league rotation one day.”

Additionally, there’s no grade that can be put on Dimitroff’s character, and as such, he and his family were awarded the Landon Cochran Humanitarian Award once the event was complete in the DR.

Below, find more footage of Dimitroff from his summer outing at the National Combine, and make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel for more Dimitroff highlights, as well as footage from a decade’s worth of the best amateur baseball events on the planet.
