When it came time to put together the All-Tournament Team for the 2026 New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series Caribbean Classic presented by DraftLine, there was no way Dominic Pellegrin wasn’t going to be on it.
The six-foot, 175-pound shortstop set the tone early for the victorious United States team, barreling a triple to the left center field gap, which continued to show off a bat that’s got a future 55 on it according to his most recent scouting report. In truth, there’s tools across the board here; playable ones, too, skills that actually apply to a home on the middle of the diamond that he’ll likely occupy for some time, although he could also certainly handle center field as well with his athleticism and solid arm.
Pellegrin has several FSS appearances in the past, including a National Tournaments trip in the summer, but the Tulane commit truly burst onto the scene this summer with enormous showings at both the National Combine in Houston and then the Main Event at Globe Life Field in October. Recently named by Baseball America as a potential sleeper for the upcoming 2026 MLB Draft, his stock will only continue to rise as he continues his development path.
