After an exceptional showing at a Scout Day with the Mississauga HPP Tigers, Nantais-Vlahovich’s outing at the Underclass Combine was a highly anticipated one. He certainly didn’t disappoint. One of the top amateur arms up north, MNV cemented his status on the Underclass Elite roster with an at times dominant showing for the Orange team, and should have a lot of eyes on him in the stands when we get to Globe Life Park.
42-year-old Mike Ashmore is a New Jersey-based writer with 23 years experience in professional baseball.
Since 2003, he has covered multiple World Series and has worked high-profile events ranging from the MLB All-Star Game to the World Baseball Classic. In addition to his role working for the Future Stars Series that he's held since 2017, Ashmore currently serves as the beat writer of the Double-A New York Yankees affiliate, the Somerset Patriots, as well as national hockey writer and New York Jets game day beat reporter for The Trentonian.
