The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series powered by Program 15 Sports are set to resume Regional Combines starting October 18, with events that weekend set for the Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia-area locations.
These are something of a starting point; Regional Combines serve as the events that get players seen and invited for the National and Underclass Combines in Houston during the summer, and have been the starting point for countless players who have gone to participate in signature events, make their college commitments and go on to play college baseball, professional baseball or both.
While you can always see our full upcoming event schedule here, the focus shifts to that first week of combines in some locations we’ve seen produce a lot of quality talent since our inception as we start to look forward to shaping the rosters of summer events in 2026. Registration cost is $149.99, and data add-ons are available for purchase as listed below.

- FSS event shirt
- Professional Development (PD) – on-site learning, mental game training, and insights from staff
- Invitations to Next Summer’s Future Stars Series: Invite ONLY Events ( Houston, TX)
- Social Media Coverage: Content across Future Stars Series channels
- TrackMan Data Option: Access to the latest BP pitching, or game data files available. The depth of data is available in 2-Options. Basic data and Data with analysis.
- Optional Player Data Analysis: Hitting, pitching, and athletic testing insights from current or former MLB staff. The analysis provides greater insights to player performance and development opportunities with specific performance metrics, targeted feedback, and development opportunities from MLB professionals.
- Data Purchase Options: Both data options for this event are available during the registration process. If you accidentally skip the data option during registration, you may click the CART button to view the options again in more detail.
- NTangible Upgrade (Optional): The assessments measure key mental attributes that influence athletic performance, such as resilience, decision-making under pressure, and emotional regulation. Unlike physical assessments that gauge speed, strength, or agility, NTangible evaluates the emotional and psychological factors that drive performance. influence athletic performance data & analytics.
- Synergy Video (when accessible): This video is directed ONLY to colleges and MLB clubs
Since 2003, he has covered multiple World Series and has worked high-profile events ranging from the MLB All-Star Game to the World Baseball Classic. In addition to his role working for the Future Stars Series that he's held since 2017, Ashmore currently serves as the beat writer of the Double-A New York Yankees affiliate, the Somerset Patriots, as well as national hockey writer and New York Jets game day beat reporter for The Trentonian.
A regular contributor to Baseball America, Ashmore has worked seven Super Bowls, 12 Stanley Cup Finals, the 4 Nations Face-Off, the NBA Playoffs, College Football Playoff National Championship Game, Frozen Four, Daytona 500, major UFC events and much more as he approaches 3,200 games covered in his career.
An avid card collector and sim racer, he lives with his wife, Sarah, their son William, and their beloved dog, Bailey, and cat, Smokey.
