Team Louisiana capped off an extraordinary run at the 2020 New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series Powered by Program 15 2022 Grad Class Tournament with a 12-1 win over the Louisiana Knights to take the trophy home, the second time their program has done so during the FSS/P15 National Tournament this year.
After outscoring their opponents 34-7 while going undefeated in pool play, they largely did the same once the bracket was set — although Team Louisiana did need an extra-inning walk-off win against another one of the Knights teams in the semi-finals to advance to the championship game.
