Bibby had a fascinating several days in Houston, starting as a two-way player with a likely uphill climb to make the Main Event to earning his way to Arlington after being asked to stay the extra day on Thursday and turning in a dazzling 1-2-3 outing on the mound that cemented his spot, striking out two along the way.
Still very much so a two-way player, Bibby is a really interesting athlete — an uncommitted one as well — who shows some significant feel to pitch, particularly for the breaking ball, one that complements his high 80’s fastball that comes from a long, lanky frame.
